I presume that is the major reason why an average Windows tablet cost more than an equivalent Android tablet. While wonders would never end... Blackberry has recently been adding it's fair share of the wonders to the smartphone community.<br />
Recently, Blackberry  OS10.2 has added support of Android apps to it's present features. To be honest with you, this came as a surprise to me as it would anybody reading this right now.<br />
<br />
The truth be told: Blackberry is only offering support for android apps (usually having the extension <b><span style="font-size: large;">.apk</span></b>) and nothing more. So, no Google Play on Blackberry OS 10.2 yet.<br />
It does not mean Blackberry 10 is now an Android OS neither does it mean you can find the Android apps you like, or want on the Blackberry App World.<br />

A new BBM for android application has been released for beta testing reports the Canadian phone company. Crackberry also claims that the new BBM has been released to only a select few beta test users.</div>

This is a highly welcome development for BBM for Android enthusiasts as their iOS counterparts are already enjoying the thrills of the BBM for iPhone. In this new version, Blackberry claims to have fixed most of the existent bugs from the previous versionand is now available to be tested.</div>

While this is a welcome development, the majority of users will still have to wait, this new beta 
release is a sign that the BBM developer’ team are working for give a stable and 
final solution for all Android-based device regarding with the new BBM 
application for Android.<br />

The new beta application comes with a few changes, improvements and normal bug 
fixes. In addition,  it brings with some tweaks and visual changes. There is a new welcome screen and an option to disable the persistent notification in the 
status bar is also available. Moreover, the UI graphical has received some major improvements.<br />

As expected the Canadian company has made no mention of when exactly the new BBM 
application for Android will be released for all users, but we think that it wouldn’t take much time to complete the tests with this actual beta

<p>As is the always the case with the release of mobile devices, there has been a bunch lot of debates about what Nokia would call their tablet line, with some people thinking a new designation would be used instead of Lumia.</p>
<p>Giving the same names to tablets and smartphones seems odd quite alright; but  then again Microsoft has hinted and many analysts have also commented that Microsoft will combine RT and Windows Phone in the future.</p>
<p>This, perhaps, might be the first attempt at that planned naming style (giving the same name to tablets and smartphones.</p>
<p>It would be noteworthy to remember that Microsoft will own the Lumia brand, so perhaps this seemingly last minute decision was made in conjunction with their future owners.</p>

<p>The Lumia 2520 is expected to be announced at the October 22nd event by Nokia. <br>
Not much has been said about this tablet but it seems it would feature 2.15 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm 8974 (ARM) processor and sport 10.1-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display.</p>
<p>It will weigh in a 1.3 pounds (about 590 grams), have LTE and a ZEISS 6.7 MP camera. Priced at $499 (about N79,000) the tablet will run Windows 8.1 RT.</p>

<p>Samsung had previously made it clear that soon after the announcement of the iPhone 5S, it's next smartphone would have a 64-bit functionality. </p>
<p>This might not be far from reality considering the fact that the 64-bit CPU currently on the iPhone was made by Samsung. The South Korean manufacturers (Samsung) continue to be the Cupertino giant's (Apple's) go to source for processors and CPUs. </p>
<p>Well, Android (which is the power house behind all of Samsung's Galaxy devices) has had the ability to work with 64-bit CPUs for a long time now. And according to Korean media, Samsung is into the final stages of development of its 64-bit processor and the company’s next flagship (who else than the Samsung Galaxy S5?) would <u>be</u> powered by such a CPU. </p>

<p>Well, it only gets better as Samsung will, in a completely logical move, also put the new tech at work inside some of its tablets.</p>
<p>For your information, the move to a 64-bit architecture has the following advantages:</p>
<p>==> manufacturers to increase the RAM (more than 4GB) memory of their devices.</p>
<p>==> the 64-bit architecture has 31 registers, each 64-bits wide, which can be accessed at all times, potentially leading, to a 10% increase in performance .</p>

New Hope For Blackberry As It Gets a Potential Buyer

<p>With Fairfax Financial-led consortium intending to buy out the company, Blackberry, for $4.7 billion the company's fate is finally coming into focus. And I think there is more hope for Blackberry now than there was in the past few years. </p>
<p>The company announced on Monday that it has signed a letter of intent with a consortium lead by Fairfax Financial. The $4.7 billion buy out is also valued at $9 per share. </p>
<p>CEO of Fairfax Prem Watsa, a former BlackBerry board member, said that the buyout would make BlackBerry a private company and would “open an exciting new private chapter for BlackBerry, its customers, carriers and employees. ”</p>
<p>BlackBerry says it expects Fairfax to finish conducting its due diligence by November 4th. <br>
Even though the deal is not yet binding at this point, BlackBerry will still have to pay Fairfax a fee of $0.30 per share if the deal doesn’t happen. <br>
BlackBerry shares jumped about 3% on on the news, which is a good thing for the company considering it's decline in share values over the months.</p> <p><b>Blackberry going private doesn't mean they would stop production. Infact, they would continue their operations as usual but their shares would no longer be available to the public!</b></p>
