Netqin anti-virus is a mobile application which is used in detecting and removing virus and malware that may serve as a threat to mobile phones and gadgets. It can be used on symbian OS, Windows OS, Blackberry OS and Android OS.
Netqin Antivirus
This tutorial will explain how you can update the application free of charge. Normally the update of Netqin anti-virus will cost you 50NGN which will be deducted from your cellphone's call credit and the monthly subscription for PRO member is 100 NGN. To get the update free of charge without any stress/difficulty, follow the simple steps below:
  1. Download Netqin antivirus using the links below.
  2. Go to the text message setting on your mobile device and create a new message centre profile.
  3. Change the message centre profile name to NETQIN.
  4. Change the message centre no to +234803 save and use as default centre no.
  5. Launch the Netqin antivirus application on your device and select the antivirus option
  6. Go to Upgrade to Pro Member and select it.
  7. A message will pop-up but select YES (it will try to send message but it will not be sent due to the centre no used because if the message is sent, the money will be deducted)
  8. This message (Upgrade Successful etc.)  will appear.
  9. Select Upgrade Anti-virus DB to get full protection (your anti-virus Database will be updated).
Now you now have full protection on your phone.
Go back and change your message centre profile to the normal setting.


NOTE:
Repeat the above step if you are prompted to update again.
