With all the hype around the corner about the new <a href="http://apple.com">Apple</a> iOS update. I decided to publish this article to ease those who would want to know more about the update. 
Here, I have picked out five articles from around the web that might help you do just that-know more about the update :).

All the way from <a href="http://www.apple.com">Apple's website</a> comes a firsthand review on what's in it for you in the new iOS. Some of the features include, new Notification Center, Centralised Control Center, Improved Web Browsing, More Advanced Siri etc.

Okay, maybe you are not at all satisfied with what's there on Apple's website, a trip to the Verge's <a href="http://www.theverge.com">website</a> where author, <a href="http://www.theverge.com/users/Aaron%20Souppouris">Aaron Souppouris</a>, exposes 15 best hidden features you can see on the new iOS update. Well, enough babbling and let's take a sneak peak at <a href="http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/18/4741412/the-best-hidden-features-in-ios-7">15 best hidden features in the new iOS 7.</a> 
Forbes

Also, if you are skeptical about upgrading, you might as well be on track. A couple of reasons would be:
1)  the fact that it's impossible to downgrade to iOS 6.
2) that as of this very moment, there's no jailbreak in for the iOS 7 yet. 
3) some apps might not function as expected due to the OS change.  Which means iOS app developers might have to tweak their apps to suit Apple's iOS 7's demands.

Lifehacker 
Just like everything that has pretty good features, there might be one, two or three annoying features. Well, iOS 7 OS is no exception of that rule as Lifehacker's article  has exposed <a href="http://www.lifehacker.com/ios-7s-biggest-annoyances-and-how-to-fix-them-1334420963">six (6) annoying things on the new iOS 7 and how to fix them</a>. Some of the annoying things include:
1) reduced battery life thanks to the new background app refresh. 
2) control center popping up while in the middle of a game like Temple Run courtesy of the new gesture for control center! 
3) More at <a href="http://www.lifehacker.com/ios-7s-biggest-annoyances-and-how-to-fix-them-1334420963">Lifehacker</a> ;).

iOS 7 Update For iPhone And iPad: How To Download and Install The Update!

As we already know,  Apple launched iOS 7 for her esteemed users and customers sometime yesterday, Wednesday the 18th of September, 2013.
Folks over at <a href="http://www.hongkiat.com">Hongkiat</a> have given a detailed explanation on how to install the iOS 7 update with the necessary download links (for manual updates). 
There are two ways to carry out this update viz:
1) Automatic OTA (Over The Air) update from the device’s settings and 
2) Manual update by downloading the .ipsw and installing it via iTunes. 
The first method of update (OTA) seems to be more appealling if you ask me.
I've gotta warn you though, that this update would take a lot of time to finish as:
1) all the updates files for all the various versions of both iPhones and iPads are a little over 1GB in size... 
2) alot of iOS users would be wanting to access Apple's servers to have a feel of what the iOS has in store for them. 
Last year, when the iOS 6 was launched, <a href="http://bgr.com/2012/09/24/iphone-5-launch-sales-2012/">over 100  million users updated their devices within the space of 1 week</a>. 
A little patience would do you a lot of good. 
However, if you still choose to install the iOS 7 update right away, you can visit <a href="http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/ios-7-download-links-and-installation/">Hongkiat</a> to see the procedures involved. 
Note: 
1) Watch out for the explanation on how to identify your device type. 
2) Make sure you select the right download link for your device. 
If you adhere to the above notes, then you're pretty much out of harm's way.

Review: Samsung Galaxy Note III vs IPhone 5S

Earlier this month, two smartphone manufacturing giants Samsung and Apple made some announcement on a new release of phones: <a href="http://www.daechuzzy.com/2013/09/review-unveiling-of-samsung-galaxy-note.html">Galaxy Note III</a> and iPhone 5S respectively. 
And with the release dates just around the corner (Galaxy Note III in early October and iPhone 5S around 20th September), smartphone enthusiasts and users are already prepping the list of most likely purchase. No doubt, these two smartphones are also likely to make that list! 
There have been reviews here and there for the smartphones and I recently came across a very wonderful review of the Samsung Galaxy Note III vs the iPhone 5S from <a href="http://www.gottabemobile.com">Gottabemobile</a>. 
Just to help those who might be in a dilemma about which of Galaxy Note III and iPhone 5S to purchase, author, <a href="http://www.gottabemobile.com/author/adam/">Adam Mill</a> from Gottabemobile has done justice to things you need to consider before making your final decision between the two devices. 
Some of the things you might want to note about the two devices include:
1) The Galaxy Note III is a better device if you are a sucker for gaming and videos. With its well pronounced 5.7-inch screen. It just makes the gaming experience better. The iPhone 5S on the other hand has a meager 4-inch screen. 
2) If you prefer portability, then you might consider the iPhone 5S. It has a 4-inch screen, is thinner and weighs less than the Samsung Galaxy Note III. With the iPhone weighing 56 grams less than the Note III at 112 grams and 0.7mm slimmer than the Note III at 7.6mm. 
P.S: I'm not in anyway saying the Galaxy Note III is not portable, I'm only saying the iPhone 5S is more portable of the two devices. :-) 
3) The iPhone 5S promises better security with it's fingerprint reader security. 
4) The Galaxy Note III promises more memory space with 96GB (32GB internal and 64GB expandable) where the iPhone 5S comes in three variants sporting 16, 32 and 64GB. And as we know iPhone's don't support external memory cards.
