There have been rumours as well as speculations heralding the entrance of the Samsung Galaxy Note III phablet (which is an awesome combination of phone and tablet).

The device was recently officially unveiled in Berlin at the smartphone maker's Unpacked 2013 Episode 2013.
The flagship device sports a 5.7" AMOLED display which is quite contrary to the 5.9" and 6.1" display reported by earlier rumours. Accompanying the AMOLED display is a Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a whopping 1920 x 1080 screen resolution!

For high-end phone users and lovers of great processing power,
the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is
powered by Qualcomm’s
Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.3 GHz four Krait 400 cores CPU inside, Adreno 330 GPU, and 3GB of RAM (I mean, what do you need all that for? Just kidding ツ)
On the rear, the phablet sports a whooping 13-megapixel camera with high CRI, BSI Sensor with Smart Stabilization which supports 1080p@60fps video recording. It also comes packed with a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera also featuring BSI Sensor and Smart Stabilization for video calling.

The phablet also sports Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac(dual band capable),Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspots, GPS, GLONAS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE(Low Energy) with A2DP, MHL 2.0 support, IR support, micro USB 2.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 measures 151.2 x 79.1 x 8.3mm (which is 1mm thinner than the Galaxy Note 2), weighs 168grams (which is 15grams lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2) and is powered by a 3200mAh battery.
Well, this time around, the smartphones maker, Samsung, was wise enough to deliver the smartphone in three different variants: 16, 32 and 64GB variants with support for microSD expandable to 64GB. It also comes in three colours viz: black, white and pink.

The Galaxy Note III also features an upgraded S Pen Stylus with which when users tap the screen and click on the pen's button will launch the Air Command, which is like a semi-circular menu!
This semi-circular menu has several functions such as Scrapbook (which allows you save any content on the screen by making a circle around it), S Finder (which let's you search for contents on the device) and taking written symbols with the S Pen Stylus into account.

Powering the smartphone is Android's 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with Touchwiz; supporting Air Command, Multitasking, Multivision, and some other Samsung apps that exist on other Samsung flagship devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2.
