PING!!!
The wait is over. The official BBM for Android is now working but unfortunately is not yet available on the Google Play Store.
A number of links gave been springing up here and there but I noticed that most of them have been taken down due to excessive traffic from anxious Android users.
Some links are still up and running, though I just have one right now and I've decided to share it with you.
If you are anxious to download the app on your device, here's a link to download the BBM for Android apk (thanks to folks at www.ginosblog.com).
The Blackberry Messenger app only supports Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean OS and is about 14.1MB in size.
Happy Pinging To All Android Users! :). And DON'T FORGET to SHARE with your friends.

Update:

I know the rollout for BBM on Android and iOS has begun again. Thing is there are so many people who need the link to download the app.
If you are one of those people, here is the link to link to download the app for your Android device from Google Playstore. If you'd want to have the apk file instead, you can download it from my dropbox account. Happy pinging once again!!!

P.S: The app only works for devices running ICS 4.0 or higher
