Have you ever had the need to unlock your Android but you forgot the password. This tutorial will show you how to unlock your device without stress!
Some times, we lock our devices especially for security reasons. At other times, we just don't want anybody to get unwarranted access to our phone, we just want our privacy; and that to ourselves (sometimes are like that, you know!).
Android devices make use of (unlock pin, pattern lock, password lock, fingerprint and the recent addition facelock) security systems which make it extremely difficult to someone to unlock your phone without your outright permission.
However, these  systems
have an automated lookout system, which automatically locks up the device whenever someone fails to put in the right code after several trials…
Quite a number of Android users face this challenge, more users will continue to face it and with daily increase in the number of Android devices, the situation seems to get worse.
To fix this problem, there are two possible unlock approaches which I'm going to show to you.

1.) Unlock Using Google Account.

This first method works only if your phone was synced with your Google account and you have an active data connection before the forgot the password.
◆ Sign in to your Google ( be it Gmail, YouTube, Blogger, etc) account.
◆ Lookout for ''forgot password'' button (usually towards the bottom left of the screen) after the number of trial entries have been exceeded. Select it.
◆ The screen that follows will demand for your user name and password. Enter the details but make sure the email entered is currently active and syncing.

2.) Unlock Using Factory Reset.

If you try the method above and it doesn't work. I'm afraid you might have to factory reset your phone.
It's a pretty straight forward process.
◆ First of,  power off your device. Make sure you wait for the vibration that signals the phone is finally off.
◆ Then,  press and hold the “Up Volume Key”, “Home
or Middle Key” and then “Power Button” in that order. Don't let go until the device powers on again!
◆ When the device is done booting, you'd see some options. Use the volume down key to scroll to “Restore Factory Defaults” or “Delete all User Data” depending on what you see. Allow the process to finish.
◆ Use the volume key to scroll to "reboot phone" or "restart phone" (varies with different device manufacturers) and select the highlighted option with the "home or middle key".
Your phone should reboot now without asking for a password prompt.
