Samsung's Messaging App's (ChatON) Subscription Base Reaches 100 Million

<b>Samsung's mobile chat/messaging application, ChatON, has now reached 100 million users</b>. the app was launched in October 2011, had just 50 million users as at May, 2013 and four months after have doubled their subscription base. This is a phenomenal growth t say the least.</div>

This growth is as a result of increase in subscriptions from countries like China, US and India says the  <a href="http://global.samsungtomorrow.com/?p=28713" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Samsung Tomorrow</a>'s website. The ChatON is becoming more popular and hopes to increase the it's reach in the Middle-East and Europe (<i>God knows when the'd be reaching out to Africa</i>).</div>

Another reason for ChatON's growth is the accessibility on different Operating Systems, platforms and the support being offered across international markets. It also supports 63 different languages.</div>

The ChatON service can be now accessed through PC’s, Samsung devices, and from all major devices’ OS such as Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows Phone, as well. In additional the ChatOn offers the multi-screen capability, this new feature allows its users to sign-in on the system to five different devices by using on Samsung account ID.</div>

<p>Samsung had previously made it clear that soon after the announcement of the iPhone 5S, it's next smartphone would have a 64-bit functionality. </p>
<p>This might not be far from reality considering the fact that the 64-bit CPU currently on the iPhone was made by Samsung. The South Korean manufacturers (Samsung) continue to be the Cupertino giant's (Apple's) go to source for processors and CPUs. </p>
<p>Well, Android (which is the power house behind all of Samsung's Galaxy devices) has had the ability to work with 64-bit CPUs for a long time now. And according to Korean media, Samsung is into the final stages of development of its 64-bit processor and the company’s next flagship (who else than the Samsung Galaxy S5?) would <u>be</u> powered by such a CPU. </p>

<p>Well, it only gets better as Samsung will, in a completely logical move, also put the new tech at work inside some of its tablets.</p>
<p>For your information, the move to a 64-bit architecture has the following advantages:</p>
<p>==> manufacturers to increase the RAM (more than 4GB) memory of their devices.</p>
<p>==> the 64-bit architecture has 31 registers, each 64-bits wide, which can be accessed at all times, potentially leading, to a 10% increase in performance .</p>
<p>==> advanced features are also other reasons why the 64-bit CPUs coming to Android looks promising. </p>

<p>Earlier this month, two smartphone manufacturing giants Samsung and Apple made some announcement on a new release of phones: <a href="http://www.daechuzzy.com/2013/09/review-unveiling-of-samsung-galaxy-note.html">Galaxy Note III</a> and iPhone 5S respectively. </p>
<p>And with the release dates just around the corner (Galaxy Note III in early October and iPhone 5S around 20th September), smartphone enthusiasts and users are already prepping the list of most likely purchase. No doubt, these two smartphones are also likely to make that list! </p>
<p>There have been reviews here and there for the smartphones and I recently came across a very wonderful review of the Samsung Galaxy Note III vs the iPhone 5S from <a href="http://www.gottabemobile.com">Gottabemobile</a>. </p>
<p>Just to help those who might be in a dilemma about which of Galaxy Note III and iPhone 5S to purchase, author, <a href="http://www.gottabemobile.com/author/adam/">Adam Mill</a> from Gottabemobile has done justice to things you need to consider before making your final decision between the two devices. </p>
<p>Some of the things you might want to note about the two devices include:</p>
<p>1) The Galaxy Note III is a better device if you are a sucker <b>for gaming and videos</b>. With its well pronounced <b>5.7-inch screen</b>. It just makes the gaming experience better. The iPhone 5S on the other hand has a meager <b>4-inch screen</b>. </p>
<p>2) If<b> you prefer portability</b>, then you might consider the iPhone 5S. It has a <b>4-inch screen</b>, is <b>thinner</b> and <b>weighs less</b> than the Samsung Galaxy Note III. With the iPhone weighing 56 grams less than the Note III at 112 grams and 0.7mm slimmer than the Note III at 7.6mm. </p>
<p><b>P.S: </b>I'm<b> </b>not in anyway saying the Galaxy Note III is not portable, I'm only saying the iPhone 5S is more portable of the two devices. :-) </p>
<p>3) The iPhone 5S promises <b>better security</b> with it's fingerprint reader security. </p>
<p>4) The Galaxy Note III promises <b>more memory space</b> with 96GB (32GB internal and 64GB expandable) where the iPhone 5S comes in three variants sporting 16, 32 and 64GB. And as we know iPhone's don't support external memory cards. </p>
