While you were surfing the net, you probably came across a search engine called Delta Search and don't know what it is! Or you have not come across it before and you want to know what to do to
avoid it so it does not take your web browsers hostage!!!
Sometime ago I noticed that my default homepage and my search engines had been changed to some ''Delta Search'' on my Chrome browser. I exited Chrome because I hated the search results the so-called Delta Search was giving me and then I started Firefox browser only to realise that the same thing had happened to the Firefox browser.
Okay, I then started my Internet Explorer and the same thing( Delta Search) came up as my homepage and search engine. I was a little pissed and decided to do a little research which I am going to share with you.
I've also decided to write a brief tutorial on how to remove Delta Search from your browser here!

Delta Search: What It Is

From my little research, I found out that:
◆  Delta Search is an unwanted program for computers which is used to promote commercial sites.
◆ It is used to redirect web surfers who have Delta Search in their browsers to there commercial websites.
◆ Most of the websites Delta Search redirects you to offer unwanted goods and services. In other words, you totally don't need'em!
◆ The search results procured by Delta Search are most of the time unrelated to your search queries, making it a little frustrating.
◆ It is uses the same principle that malwares operates with, it basically changes your system settings (to be more specific your browser settings), without your permission!

Delta Search: Sources And How To Avoid It!

So now we have an idea of what Delta Search is and we are going to look at the possible sources of Delta Search!
◆ Downloading and installing an application or computer software from an unofficial website/source can lead to the unintentional installation of Delta Search. Before downloading and installing a computer software, make sure the source is legit and official!
◆ Installing browser extensions/add-ons from website other the browser's official store. Don't just install add-ons from anywhere you feel like! If you see an extension (add-on) outside the browser's official store, copy the name and search for it on the browser's extension (add-on) store!
◆ Direct malware attack! This is the rarest of the sources and there's pretty nothing much you can do about this!
So now you know what Delta Search is and how to avoid it!
