Yes that's right! You can actually increase your Android device's speed. Have you noticed that your device lags after some time of usage? Initially, when you purchase the device; be it smartphone, tablet or phablet, your device seems to be "jet-speed" fast.
After some time,  the speed gradually declines and you begin to wonder, "what's going wrong"? You try some manual/common fix by deleting unused files,  moving apps to SD, rooting and so on but it all looks like an effort in futility.
I've got good great news for you. With the latest update from Google for it's Android devices, that would be a thing of the past. The new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean comes with a TRIM functionality which helps you clean up your phone and delete files you no longer use and need such cache files from already uninstalled/deleted apps thus freeing up memory for better and faster user experience.
How does TRIM work? We will use the human body, bowel movement and toilet WC interaction as an analogy... When you take in food,  it's like downloading and loading your device with apps, videos, photos etc. It gets to a point you no longer need the app's, videos, photos and files; you delete them. This is like emptying your body's waste product in the WC without flushing... After some time,  it becomes difficult for you to use the WC because of the smell, and waste stuff; you know what I mean. This is when your phone actually begins to slow down.
That's how your phone operates before the now. But with the intervention of TRIM (thanks to JB 4.3), which is like the flush function of the WC (which clears the previous waste in your WC and makes it as good as new), you can enjoy better and longlasting performance of your phone.
