Today, I'm going to be unravelling how to know your laptop's PC specs, processor and processing speed.
Did you recently purchase a laptop and you want to know it's nitty-gritty?
Or, did you see the laptop's spec listed somewhere? And for that reason, you purchased the laptop PC but you noticed it is not performing as you anticipated! And you want to perform a background check on the app.
I'm going to share with you two simple ways you can do this.
1. Using Windows in-built Properties Checker
This is pretty easy and straight forward! All you have to do is:
=>Navigate to Computer from start menu on Windows 7 (for Windows 8 users, go to Desktop from the bottom left corner of the tiles, click on the File Explorer on the Task Bar).
=>Click on Properties, a little below the Menu Tab
2. Using CPU-Z Software
CPU-Z is a freeware which gathers information on some of the main devices of your system!
It provides information such as:
CPU
Name and number, Core stepping and process, Package.
Mainboard
Vendor, model and revision, BIOS model and date.
This method is preferable to me because it gives more detailed analysis and results. Also, it has screenshot ability, which is very groovy for a person like me! ツ
See more of it's CPU-Z 's capabilities here.
To use the CPU-Z, follow the steps:
=> Download the latest version of CPU-Z here (it supports both 32 and 64 bit systems, so no worries). It's a little below 1.5MB.
=> Install the executable file by double-clicking the downloaded .exe and following the installation guide!
=> Open the CPU-Z program from the start menu or desktop and you are good to go!
Here are some screenshots.
So, what did you get from your results?  Are you thrilled, indifferent or otherwise?
Well, I personally hope the results thrill you!
