Recently, I saw some interesting videos on YouTube and I wanted have them on my phone, so I don't need to go online again to see them.
Unfortunately, and as we all know it, there is no download link for videos on YouTube. So, I decided to search the Google Playstore for an app that downloads videos on YouTube,
I searched for 'youtube downloader', 'download youtube', 'video downloader', but could not get any useful app with which to download the YouTube videos.
The question now is, WHY? How can a whole Google Playstore which boasts of over 800,000 apps not have a simple YouTube downloading app? Well, the answer is not far fetched!
As a result of the link between Google and YouTube, Playstore's terms and conditions discourages app developers/publishers from publishing such apps on Playstore!

So, how can you download YouTube videos on your Android device (especially when you get to an area with unrestricted Wi-Fi connection)?
Well, there are a number of Android apps with which you can do this. But, I found out one which met my need just fine (hope it meets yours too), and that is TubeMate YouTube Downloader.
It's got a pretty simple design, much like the default YouTube app! A search bar, to help you search for and locate specific videos. The popular on YouTube section, and a sign-in option just like you have on YouTube's mobile app! (See screenshots below)

So, what are you waiting for? Go grab the app now! And don't hesitate to share your experience!
See how to install TubeMate here!
